The Somerset Youth and Community Sailing Association (an RYA recognised teaching establishment) is based at the club and runs courses for children and adults of all abilities. It has a variety of all abilities. It has a varied fleet of training boats, many bought new in 1999 with Lottery and sponsors help

SAILING TUITION AND TRAINING.

Dinghy training activities include the very popular children's Saturday Sailing Club. Some of our young sailors have competed nationally and DSC/SYCSA hope soon to be awarded VOLVO RYA Champion Club status which will help us develop top class standards of youth race coaching.
