Windsurfing at Durleigh                                Photos Durleigh Reservoir is an excellent spot to learn to windsurf and perfect your skills with flat water, reliable winds and safety cover.  Junior windsurfing has always been big at Durleigh with many kids excelling in regional, national and international competition. Over the last few years brothers Dave and Graeme Woods, brother and sister Becky and Jack Plummer, Stuart Bruce, Aleksander Sedgwick-Wilde and Richard Walker have all graduated from club sailing to successes elsewhere. Podium finishes at National Championships for all as well as second places at the World Championships for Dave and Jack. All this from their humble beginnings on our small piece of water! Durleigh Sailing Club hosts training weekends for South West Windsurfers as well as some Team 15 events and regional races. SW Windsurfers provide regional training and the biggest regional racing calendar in the UK. We plan to gain recognition as an RYA Windsurfing Centre and Team 15 club by 2012.   Stuart Bruce (RYA Windsurfing Instructor and Race Coach) along with Becky and Jack Plummer (Team GBR/National Squad Windsurfers) are on hand to instruct or just give you some help.
